Lytton Imaging offers several tiers of educating clients on the craft of Digital B/W Printing.  Course objectives are:

a)    Establishment of a simple reference workflow from image acquisition to final print that the client can later

modify to suit his/her particular style and requirements.

 

b)   Calibration of the client’s printer to a B/W “ideal” reference output

Although the course emphasis is on technical considerations, the tips and techniques taught will also illustrate subtle enhancements to a B/W fine art print, bringing it up to exhibition/competition quality.  Course objectives are determined via short interviews by phone prior to workshop/seminar.  A workshop/seminar participant packet containing course materials is provided.  Workshop participants should bring laptops with Photoshop installed.

 

 

Two Day Workshop at Lytton Imaging

            1st day AM - Presentation/Discussion with technique demos as appropriate

            1st day PM - Practicum using techniques learned in AM, with instructor                        feedback

 

            2nd day AM - Field trip where participants shoot with own equipment

            2nd day PM - Participants apply learned techniques to print, with instructor                        feedback

 One Day Workshop at Lytton Imaging

            1st day AM - Presentation/Discussion with technique demos as appropriate

            1st day PM - Practicum using techniques learned in AM, with instructor                        feedback

 Half day Seminar at Lytton Imaging

            Presentation/Discussion with technique demos as appropriate

 Hourly Custom

            On client’s site, Lytton Imaging premises, or via web conferencing, with objectives tailored to client’s particular requirements

 

 

Pricing per participant

$100/hr

 

Limited to 3 participants

Each half day component is appropriately charged for 3 - 4 hrs, depending on course objectives achieved.

Note: Separate guest house with amenities such as an efficiency kitchen, phone, satellite TV and wi-fi is available at Lytton Imaging for $150/night and can accommodate 1 - 2 people.

Lytton Imaging is located in the East Mountain area 20 minutes from Albuquerque, New Mexico, at an elevation of 7300’ in the peaceful wooded surroundings of the Cibola National Forest.
